PREVIOUS CLUB EVENTS

IT'S FOR THE KIDS - A TRIBUTE TO OUR PAST

They do not sign up the kids anymore. They do not form the divisions or teams anymore. They do not coach the teams or cut the grass or line the fields or empty the trash or park the cars anymore.

But if they did not do all these things back then, we would not be able to do them now.

Their children are now grown and many have moved away. Some stayed around or came back and are giving back to the club today.  We are building upon the legacy they have started.

Our acheivements as a club at every level are a result of their selfless dedication to the sport of soccer, the children of our town and the spirit of community that we are so proud of here in Bethlehem.

We stand on their shoulders and we offer this small tribute to them for the great things that they started…

for the kids...  Watch them soar!!!

THANKS ABBY!!!
Abby paid us a visit, showed us some stuff and we all had a grand time.  Thanks to MVP for sponsoring the event and the Siena Saints soccer team for lending a hand.

An act of Sportsmanship - A point of Pride
Our own Nivya Reddy of the U10 Girls Bethlehem Stars was recognized for her sportsmanship by her competitors at the Niskayuna Tournament shootout.  These are the sporting actions that make us most proud as parents and as a club.  It is especially gratifying that parents took the time to recognize what is good about youth sports.  We share in their celebration.

Jon (Buschy) Busch - Goalkeeper - Chicago Fire and US Men's National Team is the latest in the Bethlehem Soccer Club's Guest Speaker series.  Jon is a Capital Region native and earned the 2008 Major League Soccer Goalkeeper of the Year award.

The Club sponsored a morning clinic for area coaches and an afternoon goalkeeper training session for keepers from the Capital District.

The Club wishes to thank Jon for his high-energy, fun sessions and Jeff Guinn, the Club's Technical Director, for helping to arrange the event and serving as Emcee as well as Afrim's Indoor Soccer Center for their gracious hosting of the event.
