Recreation Program Information and Registration

The Bethlehem Soccer Club offers a Fall and Spring recreation program at the Bethlehem Soccerplex and Town Park for children ranging from preschool through middle school. The program's intent is to offer organizational soccer in a fun, educational and non-competitive environment to the children of the Town and School District of Bethlehem.

The club's recreation program policies for Spring 2010 are as follows:

• Children registered for the Pre-Kindergarten teams must be born prior to December 1, 2005 and eligible for Kindergarten in Fall 2010. 
• Divisions are determined by grade. Grade levels may be combined if necessary to create viable divisions. If we are unable to create an "All-Girl" division, you will be contacted regarding options available.
• Payment may be made via credit card or check. Make checks payable to the "Bethlehem Soccer Club". The cost for each child is $70 ($90 if registered after February 28,2010). Checks should be mailed to Bethlehem Soccer Club, Attention: Recreation, PO Box 305, Delmar, NY 12054
• Consider carefully your volunteer job; make sure it is one that you can fulfill. If you have some knowledge of soccer or are willing to learn, please consider being a coach or an assistant coach as these are critical to the number of teams we can support. The smaller the player-coach ratio, the better instruction we can provide. Without coaches, this program is not possible.
• If you do not wish to volunteer, you may opt out at a fee of $45 per family per season (if you are registering multiple children, the fee is only paid once per family).
• Please choose ONE night that your child cannot practice. (Practices are held one night a week-at 5:30 PM or 6:30 PM [not PK or K division] and games are played primarily on Saturdays). Please try to anticipate other activities that your child will be involved in during the season (music, other sports, religion classes, etc.). If you become aware of a date change from the one you originally chose, please contact us as soon as possible so that we may update our records.
• We do not honor car pool requests, or requests to be placed with friends/classmates in assigning teams. 
• Requests for refunds must be made in writing and postmarked no later than April 12, 2010. Requests should be mailed to BSC, P.O. Box 305, Delmar, NY 12054 or emailed to cleansheet_bsc@msn.com. All refunds are subject to an administrative charge. 
• Registration for the Spring 2010 season begins on January 4, 2010. Registration is done online via our registration website. Click HERE to start the registration process for your child. Instructions for registering online can be found HERE.
• Please email the INTRACLUB COORDINATOR (cleansheet_bsc@msn.com) with any questions. Please refrain from calling Soccer Club Committee members at their homes.

KEY DATES

• Practice begins the week of April 26th
• Saturday, May 1st- First Gameday
• Saturday, May 8th, Picture Day (Tentative)
• Saturday May 15th and 16th, Betlehem Invitational Tournament at the soccerplex.  Recreation schedule to be played at the Elm Ave Town Park.  Date and time of games TBD.
• Memorial Day weekend games played on Saturday
• Monday May 31st, Bethlehem Memorial Day Parade.  All players and coaches invited to march.  Meet on Herber Ave, Delmar at 10:30 AM
• Friday June 11th World Cup 2010 in South Africa begins
• Saturday June 12th USA vs. England 2:30 PM
• Friday June 18th USA vs.Slovenia 10:00 AM
• Saturday June 19th, last game of recreation season
• Wednesday June 23rd USA vs. Algeria 10:00 AM
