Food Drive Honoring of the Club's 30th Anniversary

During the 30th Anniversary Celebration of the Club and recognition of our pioneers and past presidents, parents and families donated almost 100 pounds of food for the Bethlehem Food Pantry. Well done. Here is the note we received...

"...the food that was collected by the Bethlehem Soccer Club and donated to the Bethlehem Food Pantry...we are extremely happy that you chose the Food Pantry to receive the food as it will help us greatly in the coming months. There was so much!!! We have an average of forty-two families, or 142 people, using the Pantry each month, for the past year or so. (This is double the number of families we had previous to that time.) ...your donations are especially appreciated. Please keep us in mind for the future! "

Fall 2009 - Soccer Plex Field prep

On Saturday 8/28/09 - Over 25 intrepid souls braved the foul weather to install over 800 feet of chain link fence and assemble six new goals. This is just another example of how fortunate we are to enjoy the support of so many of our parents.

Concession Stand - Monday, August 31, 2009

The club is seeking 2-4 volunteers to take responsibility to oversee the concession stand at the soccer plex. The club has volunteers to work at the stand. We even have a person who will shop for supplies. We need some people to work as part of a team to open & close the stand, work on menu items and increase the profitability of the stand. The team would work with the Facilities Director.

Wish List - Monday, August 31, 2009

Do you have some old stuff that is lying around and you'd like to get rid of? The club may want to take it off your hands. We are looking for the following equipment to be donated.

4 – approx 30” x 60” sturdy tables. Can use other sizes if not too big.
2 – 30” or 36” kitchen base cabinets in good condition (could use other sizes to get to total width.
2-3 microwave ovens to use in concession stand to reheat food and popcorn. Countertop style is best.
12 (up to 12) chairs for use around a conference table
Sound system with microphone, amplifier and speaker(s) for use at Soccerplex during tournaments and events (outdoor is best)
Projector compatible with PC to display presentations & training info in a group setting
Projection screen for use with projector (6’ wide minimum)
